So hey everyone! If anyone still looks at my page with any regularity. How has everyone been? I really suck at keeping current with stuff, and I know it's kind of sad. I have a myspace page too, and I almost never check it, like ever, let alone update it. At least here I kind of try to post some new stuff. But, sorry about my lack of updating.

I've actually been somewhat inspired as of late in terms of writing. I wrote a bunch of poems recently, and I could tell when I was writing them that they lacked the talent and wordplay that my old stuff used to have, granted I didn't post all of my older stuff here. Maybe I will. And maybe I'll post some of the newer stuff. I know it's not that good, but it's not horrible, and more so it's proof that I'm getting back to a place where I can write again. I've gone so long without writing something that I feel rusty. And my style has definitely changed.

In other news I'm sort of working on an idea for a comic. I'd like to do it as a webcomic, and I know that in terms of writing it I can do it. My problem is going to be illustrating it, because I know that I won't be able to reproduce the characters many times over, and I don't think I have the artistic talent to make a visually pleasing, you know, comic. I have made some character sketches and concepts to just give myself and idea of what I feel for the people I'll be writing about.

When I try to explain it to people, it comes off sounding very much so like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is fine, I think, because there is some definite inspiration from Buffy. But at the same time, I feel like it's different. It's about a brother and sister that are all, magical! and they kind of protect humanity or something maybe ( i haven't entirely figured out the whole over arching conflict) but they are like, powerful and stuff, and very different from each other, they're twins by the way. And I want to incorporate some mythology with it, and some actual folklore creatures, but at the same time keep them my own. and make up my own rules. the characters are as follows:

Kassidy - Magic User, can draw upon nature to increase her physical abilities and a master of healing magic. As well as being a savant when it comes to weapons. She's the twin sister of Delling, and there are some people who seem to think that there's more to her than meets the eye.

Delling- Magic user. He lacks the natural prowess that his sister owns, but is considered a prodigy, he presented with an element at an early age, and has mastered most offensive type magic stuff.

and element by the way is something most if not all magic users will have and it defines the type of users they are. i'm still fleshing out on that idea, but it presents usually around the age of 15ish, Delling presented with his at the age of 2 or 3. anyways, moving on.

Fia- Young woman who is introduced in first story arc. She's being attacked by a big scary creepy dog looking thing, and is saved by the twins. But they're too late to save her entirely, and she will end up working with them. and she's gunna end up being kind of like a werewolf.

Melyssa- friend of Delling and Kassidy, more so of Delling, she and Kassidy don't get along. Thus far no magicalness or anyhting. She's also totally hot for Delling, but he's more of a.. not tied down to anyone type guy (manwhore).

Trent- friend of Delling and Kassidy. Closer to Kassidy, she's had a huge crush on him for a long time, but he's always treated her like a little sister. One day he'll realize that he loves her, but it's only after she's found someone else. Plan to have an injured Kassidy be taken to him for help, and he finds out what all has been going on, and he decides that he wants in on the "good fight"

Then there are other characters that I can't decide on their names yet. These are tentative

Lockley- A weapons master and some sort of creature like an elf or something. He looks young and sturdy, but he's really really old. He's a father/brother figure to Kassidy, and doesn't hold much regard for Delling, due to the differences in philosophies. Where Delling relies heavy on magic, Kassidy relies more on cunning and weapons and fighting.

Female Scholar Nameless- The oppisite of Lockley. She's more a scholar in arcane arts, and has worked with Delling from a young age. There is more to her than anyone really knows though. She has a special interest in the twins. Kassidy doesn't care much for her, but she watches out for both twins as if they were her own.

Those are the characters I have laid out right now. There's another one too, but he's like, a bad guy. and I can't get into him without revealing a lot of story arc stuff. I do have quite a few plot points written out. And I'm actually rather pleased with the story over all.

I am kind of looking for someone with some artistic prowess to maybe do the art for me. It's really a pet project though, and it wouldn't pay, unless like, in the future it becomes some sort of money making thing, then yes it would be a paid venture. But I feel like it would make a neat webcomic, and if anyone out there is interested in being the artist let me know. cause that would be friggen sweet.

Also, I went through all my deviations last night, and I super apologize for my horrid spelling and grammar mistakes made both in comments and in the little artist blurbs. I am shamed.
